Google Latitude Review

Latitude is Google's latest mapping tool that promises to turn your cell phone into a real-time tracking device, letting you see where your friends are on a map, and they can see where you are.

Sounds awesome. But how well does it work? I've been living with Google Latitude for about a week now, and it's got potential. But be prepared for some seriously inaccurate location reports (and a lot of explaining your true whereabouts to your friends).

Very nice one, the review is easy for any novice to make use of it (even though its been of millions of seconds Latitute has been released!! ;))
But it wont keep track (in real sense) of where all you went as you said. It just shows the current location as told by your mobile.
I too am waiting google to come up with the proximity alert for friends as well as real tracker for self!!

I hope that one day comes car GPS that uses Google maps. Google maps at my iPhone are lot better than latest Garmin map of Finland. GPS could load Google maps with 3G/Wifi from internet.
