Magellan sure knows how to make a splash at CES; the California-based GPS manufacturer took the opportunity to announce no less than nine new GPS units, along with several exciting new features like Google Local search, Wireless Internet connectivity via GPRS, Magellan's new OneTouch interface, improved voice recognition, and a 5-inch display model.
Read on for details and photos of the Maestro Elite 5340, 4370, and 3270, as well as the new Maestro 5310, RoadMate 1200, 1212, 1230, 1400, 1412, and 1430.

Did Magellan say when the 4370 would be available?
I want one!
Thanks you
This is rediculous. How does Magellan expect the normal consumer to differentiate between all these models? It's overwhelming! And the numbered names make it unecessarily confusing. But I have to admit, the Maestro Elite may actually give Garmin a run for their money. Well, we'll see...
That's crazy, $1,300?!!!! Noone will pay that for a Magellan unit. Prices are coming down, not sky-rocketing. My prediction is that their top model crashes 'n' burns. Even the next model down is a bit steep. They must know that they don't have the same reputation as Garmin, right?
Garmin and Magellan presented quite a variety of new GPS models at the electronics show. Some interesting and intriguing units, some over priced and , well, confusing. However, variety just the same. Where was Tom Tom? To me its seems their 'big' GPS release was the all too lame off-road motorbike unit. Excuse me if I dont pop the victory champagne on that one. If Tom Tom, Garmin and, Magellan are in a battle for the consumer dollar, its clear to me whom is sliding comfortably into third spot. Gary
TomTom never does big releases at CES.
They just did the 920 release 2 months ago and CeBit is coming in a few months!
Hello
Magellan is a great product and got a great support...
I do not have any issues to deal with the magellan...
I prev own a TOM TOM which i returned in 2 days.
magellan Is great..
Why would anyone purchase a Magellan after all of the horrific customer service stories posted? Yeah, Magellan, I'm going to fork out $1300 of my hard earned money so you can outsource your customer service to a third world country and I can talk to a person whom I can't understand. The only party satified by this arrangement is Magellan stockholders.
-i love magellan

Long live magellan...
