Back when I was growing up in Gotham city, it was common knowledge that anything left behind in a New York City taxi was gone for good. Not so anymore, thanks to GPS technology.
It seems professional musician Nik Munson left his acoustic bass guitar in the trunk of a cab. Not long after he realized his mistake, he remembered that this particular taxi was equipped with the much-protested Taxi GPS technology, which, among other things, provides real-time tracking information.
