Mio seems to be launching new units left and right. Its latest unit, the C728, is a monster of a GPS unit with its rather large 7" screen.

The C728 has many of the same features you'd come to expect from Mio's lineup; audio/video player, Bluetooth and split-screen interface. This new unit has thankfully upgraded their annoying 2.5mm headphone jack for the ever so welcome 3.5mm connection. However, the large screen drains the battery after only 2.5 hours.

What navigation software is used in this Mio machine?

Also has a msrp price been released yet

Actually, I would think that the bigger screen is a precursor of things to come.

The current screens are simply too small for older eyes and also hard to zoom/pan ...

I don't think they'll sit on top of the dash but attached at the top and hang over the edge... half/and half...

but no doubt in my mind that MIO sees a market segment.

Right now, this unit is slated for Euro release only. Not coming stateside for now...

Hey, this big screen is perfect for my little car - a 1973 Mini Cooper! My Mio 520 is a nice GPS, but that 4.3" screen is just a bit small, you know...
