This article helped me decide whether to purchase a Garmin Street Pilot c330or the Nuvi 350. I am going with the Nuvi 350.

Your points are correct about the chipset, size and almost everything else, but you are however not perfectly correct about the mapset.

If one buys a new c330 now he will probably get outdated maps, but on registration on my.garmin.com he will also receive a new copy of the newest maps, as it always happens with new products with older maps.

Received a Garmin c330 last Christmas. Don't like it only because it needs to be mounted, and can't be placed on dashboard. Any advice as to how it can be refigured to sit on dash with a bean bag?

my grandparents have the streetpilot GPS also I though it was autopilot myself 6yrs! WOW!

Though they got an ipad & they wanted to get a GPS app because their garmin didn't announce the street names how outdated
