A post on Dash Navigation's blog has some interesting news: steal a Dash GPS device, and you’ll be stealing a paperweight. According to the post, Dash will leverage the devices 2-way communication capabilities and over-the-air software updating mechanism to lock up a device that has been reported stolen (and presumably also get the location of the missing device).



I think we stressed that this unique feature is very important to DASH and can be advantageous to them, happy to see they are finally leveraging their capability to differentiate themselves from other GPS units.
