According to a new report published by Canalys for GPS Business News, Garmin sold more GPS units in the second quarter of 2007 than TomTom. Total GPS sales were up 123.5% with 7.4 million units sold during Q2.

That is good news. Garmin deserves to win. They put out products that work and they support them.

I just wish I had bought Garmin stock at the same time I bought my Nuvi 660. I'd be driving a 'Vet right now!

I see this changing with the release of the TomTom GO 720. This device is going to change the standard on which all GPS devices are judged. Haven't gotten my hands on one yet, but it's just a matter of weeks!

Duh... is it no surprise Garmin is in front? Buy their stock while there's still time.
