YOU ARE THE BEST!
"Remember, the goal of GPS Magazine is to give you the same knowledge of a system as if you had actually purchased it."
While this 50-page review was good, it was severely lacking in one of the most important concepts - that of the use for the USB poert.
All this review says is there is a USB port.
But, as we all know, the USB port can be used for three (3) important PCD functions
1. POWER (i.e., can the unit operate on USB power)
2. CHARGE (i.e., can the unit charge on USB power)
3. DATA (i.e., can data be transferred to/from the USB unit).
Unfortunately, I had to BUY this unit and RETURN it just to find out it can't operate while on USB power.
Why didn't the review just say so?
I wonder why there is not a in depth review of Garmin Nuvi 350?
If I'm planning an auto trip to Tuscany, Italy, this fall, which unit would be best for me? And of course, work effectively in the US?
Thanks
I see here that it is listed as bluetooth compatible but I keep looking for units that say they are and so far none do, that I have looked at. I like the Edge 705 but will it work the same as my ear piece, so I can seal my phone and it does not get wet. The GPS unit is waterproof, no phones are. If the Garmin Ege 705 was a cell Phone I would probably buy it now. All those GPS features are what I want not the music and other junk. If you know how I can get them let me know.
