Talk about disappointing! Given TomTom’s history of innovation and cutting edge products, I couldn’t wait to see what the Dutch team had cooked up for CES.
When I stopped by the booth, not only did I have to ask three different people wearing TomTom polo shirts if they could tell me what TomTom was announcing at CES, but then it turned out all TomTom had to show was an updated mount for the GO 510/910, a gooseneck mount, and a new leather carrying case. Blah…what a bore. Oh well, here goes:

I agree it is not much what they're showing. Just one remark though: TomTom is Dutch, not scandinavian.
Interesting observation however, it doesn’t seem like TomTom usually makes big announcements at CES. Case in point, the GO 510 and 910 were released in April last year. Also, TomTom released the ONE in September which seemed to fare well with consumers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they announced new products for 2007 in the same way.
They had a cool booth though.
