TomTom Buddies is a connected service that lets you share location information with other TomTom drivers, provided the other drivers are also using TomTom Buddies. The first time you launch TomTom Buddies, you are prompted to accept the legal agreement shown above.

The TomTom Buddies main menu, shown above, lets you invite another TomTom driver to become your "buddy", or view existing buddies' location on the map.

Once you've got buddies added to your device, you can send them text messages, or your location information.

4.5 TomTom Weather

TomTom's Weather LIVE service displays weather forecast information on the GPS. To view weather data, tap TomTom Weather from the TomTom Services menu.

Weather information can be viewed for your current location, saved home address, near a Point of Interest, near a recent destination, or near any street address you enter.

Weather can also be displayed for your current location, a point you select on the map, near a set of lat/long coordinates, near the last place you stopped, or near one of your TomTom Buddies.
