Figure 2: Everything That's Included in the Box
The nüvi 755T includes the following items in the box:

Figure 3: Garmin nüvi 755T, Front
Although the nüvi 755T shares the same basic shape, size, and style as Garmin's other nüvi 200 and 700-series models, there are some physical differences worth mentioning.
The 755T's minimalist black plastic case frames the 4.3-inch color touchscreen display. The case is coated with thin layer of black, rubber-like material that makes the nüvi 755T easier to handle, and provides some protection against scratches and scuff marks.

Figure 4: Garmin nüvi 755T, Left Side
The nüvi 755T comes pre-loaded with maps of North America (US & Canada) stored on the internal memory. The unit has 4GB of internal memory, of which about 1.5 is unused and available for storing photos, music, and Audiobooks. If you need more space, or want to install additional maps, the SD card slot provides additional storage options.

Figure 5: Garmin nüvi 755T, Back
The loudspeaker and external antenna connector are located on the back of the 755T.
The internal GPS antenna is located underneath the Garmin logo.

Figure 6: Garmin nüvi 755T, Bottom
The Mini-USB connector and docking cradle connector are located on the bottom of the 755T.

Figure 7: Garmin nüvi 755T, Top
The power key is located on the top of the nüvi 755T. Sliding the power switch to the left turns the unit on or off. Sliding the switch to the right locks the screen. Except for the power switch, there are no physical controls on the nüvi 755T. All functions are performed via the touchscreen interface.

Figure 8: Included Vehicle Power Cable with Integrated Traffic Receiver (Garmin GTM 20)
The nüvi 755T's FM traffic receiver is integrated into the 12v power adapter, Garmin's GTM 20. Combining the traffic data receiver into the cigarette lighter power adapter is a nice design choice, as it allows the GPS unit to remain as slim as possible, and doesn't require a second antenna wire hanging from the dashboard.
The nüvi 755T includes free, ad-sponsored, traffic service for the life of the device. We'll look more closely at the traffic service later in this review.

Figure 9: Garmin nüvi 755T's Windshield Suction-Cup Mount & Cradle
The nüvi 755T is mounted to the vehicle's windshield using a suction-cup mount and cradle. The cradle snaps onto the end of the mount, forming a ball and socket joint that can easily be rotated into the desired viewing angle.
The suction mount is locked into place by lowering the lever on the mount.

Figure 10: Attaching the Cradle
The cradle has a socket in the rear that snaps onto the ball of the suction cup mount. Connecting the cradle to the mount is simply a matter of pressing firmly on the mount until the ball snaps into the socket on the cradle. To remove the cradle, twist the cradle to the right or left until it snaps off the mount.
This ball-and-socket style mount is easy to use, holds up well against normal wear and tear, and keeps the GPS firmly in place while driving.

Figure 11: nüvi 755T, Docked
The powered windshield mount makes it easy to quickly snap the nüvi 755T in and out of the docking cradle. Since the power cable connects to the cradle rather than the GPS, you don't need to connect or disconnect any cables when docking and undocking the nüvi from the mount. Just snap it into the dock, and you're ready to go.

Figure 12: nüvi 755T, Attached to the Windshield Mount
Garmin's mounting hardware is excellent. The windshield mount holds the nüvi firmly in place and vibration-free when driving, even at highway speeds. The ball-and-socket joint on the windshield mount makes it easy to adjust the nüvi's viewing angle with one hand, and without having to turn any knobs or flip any levers.

Figure 13: USB Cable
A standard USB cable is included, and can be used to connect the nüvi 755T to a PC or Mac, as well as charge the battery.

Figure 14: Documentation & Special Offers
Included in the box is a printed owner's manual, warranty information, Audiobook information, and Garmin accessory guide.
