Figure 50: Map Screen
Tapping on the vehicle icon on the map displays the Where Am I screen, shown below. This is a great feature that provides one-touch access to your current street address (or closest valid street address), nearest intersection, exact coordinates, and makes it easy to save your current location into the address book.

The Where Am I? screen also makes it easy to find nearby hospitals, police stations, and gas stations.
Tapping Save Location Saves your current location to the Address Book, and allows you to assign a name to the location.

Figure 52: Setting the Home Address
Located within the Favorites menu (Where to? > Favorites), the Home address is a special saved address that provides quick access to the address you'll probably most often use: Home.
The first time you touch Go Home from the Favorites menu, the nüvi 200 prompts you to enter your home address.

Figure 53: Entering a Home Address
Any of the following can be used to store the Home address:
Once the Home address has been set, it can be changed anytime by tapping on Where to > Favorites > Home > Edit

Figure 54: Favorites
Saved locations are stored in Favorites. The list of saved addresses, or "favorites", is accessed by tapping on Where to? > Favorites.

Figure 55: Viewing Favorites
Favorites are always sorted by distance to your current location.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to sort favorites alphabetically, though you can search within the favorites by tapping Spell.

Figure 56: Editing A Favorite
Touching Edit on the details page of a saved entry allows you to change the name, map symbol, and phone number of a given entry.

You can also delete the saved address by touching Delete.

Like previous Garmin nüvis, the 200 can navigate to a set of longitude/latitude coordinates.
This capability can be useful for locations may not have an official street address, or used for Geocaching as well.
To route to a set of coordinates, tap Where to? on the Main Menu, and then scroll down to see the Coordinates icon.

Figure 59: Select Format
The nüvi 200 supports the three common formats shown above.

Figure 60: Usage Mode
It's a little buried in the menu system, but the nüvi 200 can operate in pedestrian mode if you want to use the GPS on foot to walk to a destination. To switch the nüvi into pedestrian mode, tap Tools > Settings > System > Usage Mode > Pedestrian > OK
