Let's be honest here: if things are so bad you've got to resort to GPS technology in order to find out where your lady-friend's private parts have been, you've got much, much bigger relationship problems to deal with. But Brazilian designer Lucia Lorio is betting that people are willing to part with $800 to $1000 in order to track their partner's nocturnal escapades, and has released a special line of lingerie that comes equipped with a concealed GPS tracking system.

Man Goes Geo-Tagging for Obama

I'm not sure this is really the type of person the Obama campaign wants supporting them, but apparrently a man equipped with a Yahoo Purple GPS bicycle (and lots of free time, and possibly no job) has used the GPS-enabled bike camera to create an Obama shaped breadcrumb trail in New York City.

According to the Flickr page, the above graphic was made by taking a geotagged photo every 60 seconds and uploading it to Flickr. No sign of a 'Mavrick' breadcrumb image yet.

Dash Navigation to Stop Making Hardware. Cuts 65% of Workforce. Will focus on Selling Software

Dash Navigation today announced that it will no longer sell GPS hardware devices. Instead, the company says it will refocus its business on licensing its software to other companies. I guess I'm shocked but not surprised; Dash's innovative Express GPS navigator had, by far, the best traffic awareness of any GPS I've tested to date. But there's just no denying the fact that Dash's big, fugly hardware wasn't going to sit well with picky consumers accustomed to thin, pretty devices.
