Garmin Announces Lifetime Pricing for Blackberry Navigation Software. Pay $99 Once, Use it Forever.

Garmin Mobile for Blackberry now offers Lifetime Pricing

If you're the kind of person who just can't bear to sign-up for yet another monthly service, Garmin feels your pain and is introducing lifetime subscription pricing for Garmin Mobile for Blackberry.

$99 gets you a lifetime subscription to turn-by-turn navigation with text-to-speech, traffic, weather, fuel prices, and more. Blackberry devices that don't have an onboard GPS can purchase Garmin's external Bluetooth GPS adapter (GPS 10x). As an added benefit, maps and POIs are stored online and downloaded as needed, so you'll always be using the latest maps.

The service is tied to the device and can't be transferred between Blackberry devices (so you might want to pickup the Blackberry 9000 before buying the lifetime GPS plan). Garmin Mobile for Blackberry is available for purchase and download at garmin.com/mobilephones.
