OK, look - I'm as much of a GPS fanboy as the next guy, but even I know the laws of nature always overrule my GPS' suggested path...
A Czech lorry driver was given directions to take his oversized vehicle down a narrow country lane and he learned the hard way that your GPS doesn't know the size of your vehicle. His vehicle ended up getting stuck trying to make the 90 degree turn. It got stuck in the lane and he was unable to even reverse his vehicle out of the lane. He ended up just crashing in his vehicle because the Czech haulage company decided to wait until a weekday rather than attempting an expensive weekend rescue.
So that begs the question; who's smarter the GPS or the Man?
This also brings out an interesting point, do any of our readers have an GPS horror stories they'd like to share. Don't worry, I won't judge to harshly.
