Garmin, TomTom Temporarily Solve Differences

gpshug.jpg

Every once in a while you need to just give your competitor a big hug and let them know that you guys don’t always have to be fighting.

In what can only be described as hardcore sibling rivalry, Garmin and TomTom finally settled at least one of their many disputes. The companies announced that they settled their intellectual property litigation that includes cases in the UK, Netherlands, Wisconsin and Texas.

No word on what they settled for (Thanks Reuters) but let’s hope it's a step in the right direction. Now please settle the Tele Atlas pissing contest before someone gets hurt.
