If looking like a 60’s sci-fi character is your thing, then the Pyxis GPS watch is for you. Westech Korea’s Pyxis GPS watch might not have the good looks of Garmin’s GPS watch lineup, but their hoping to grab your attention with the millions of functions the watch can perform.
Some of the features include time, speed, distance and calorie consumption measurement, you can program your goals into it, store lap exercises, and even bookmark your favorite routes. In addition, there is a database for several "exercise courses", helping you enjoy "leisure sports to the full", like marathons, hiking, and walking. There's also enough internal memory to store information for your last 2,000 laps.
The watch can also be handy for all you golf nuts out there. You can find out how many yards from the green you are, it can display hazards such as bunkers and rough, and it can keep score for you as well. There's even a car GPS mode.
How much stuff can you shove into one ugly interesting looking watch? According to Westech…quite a lot.
