GPS Unit Receives Fingeprint Recognition

Put thoses driving gloves away. Medion will be releasing the GoPal P4425 this November in Europe with fingerprint recognition. It seems the US isn't the only one with pesky GPS thieves.

If a would-be-thief tries to steal one of these babies, they will find themselves with a nice, shiny paperweight. The integrated fingerprint recognition sensor requires the identified owner to activate the device.

While this unit probably won't find its way to the US, could this be a positive sign for future features to come? I sure think so. Now we just need a built in taser and I don't think GPS theft will be a problem anymore.
