We do our best to limit iPhone porn to a minimum, but rumors are flying that the Jesus-phone will pickup GPS support in 2008, as well as 3G connectivity for faster data downloads.
According to the rumors, Apple is in contract negotiations with Global Locate (recently acquired by Broadcom) to provide the GPS chipset. Global Locate specializes in low power assisted GPS that is ideally suited for cell phone applications. No official word yet from Apple.
Oh, and the photo above is fake, so the actual interface is anyone's guess at this point.
