MainNav's MW-705 Makes Your Breitling Look Like Ladies' Jewelry

MainNav MW-705 GPS Watch

Sure, it may not be the slimmest watch I've ever seen, but this thing packs a SiRF Star III LP GPS receiver, Bluetooth, digital heart rate monitor, speed, distance, and temperature sensors. Powered by a rechargeable Li-ion 400mAh battery, the MG-90 is waterproof, shock resistant, and totally awesome.

OK, so maybe strapping on this 69 x 55 x 28mm beast isn't the most practical thing for dinner in the city. But if you're gearing up for a K2 ascent, then the MW-705 may be just the ticket. Looks like there are no pre-loaded maps, so you'll need to connect to a PC (possible via Bluetooth?) and download maps for the area you'll be hiking in. MainNav is a Taiwanese company and the MW-705 isn't available for purchase yet. No word on pricing or if and when it will be available in the US or Europe.
