Garmin Releases nuvi 660 software version 3.20 as of January 15, 2007

Garmin nuvi 660
Garmin has posted updated software for the nuvi 660, available via Garmin's WebUpdater application or via direct download.

Changes made from version 2.70 to 3.20:

  • New Traffic Interface
  • Fixed Memory Full message
  • Removed + when dialing POI's in the United States
  • High power FM support for Australia

I've downloaded and installed the update, which is 10 MB in size. I also noticed that WebUpdater prompted me to update the TMC traffic receiver firmware, as well as the Bluetooth software on the nuvi. You can't install them all at once, so update the main firmware first, then disconnect and re-connect and do the traffic and Bluetooth update. I've installed the updates, and all is well with my nuvi 660.
